As the title suggests, the book is a loving and gentle invitation to becoming a better version of you through a transformation that meets you where you currently are. We all want to be our best selves and can sometimes get caught up in the latest fads or trends. This book isn't that.
Heather has written the book in a very welcoming and conversational tone to which anyone can relate. She wrote this with the reader in mind, so no matter where you are in caring for your health journey, I found it uplifting to read about her experience taking charge of her health.
Once she made the decision to improve her health, she never gave up, and no matter how long it took to learn what would better serve her, she stuck with it. So it's also as inspirational as it is useful as a daily reference. I can also appreciate that she is sharing so much of her knowledge with others through this book, so that it may help others in a similar place on their path.
It's also a great reminder to think about what we are eating and how it affects our body, energy, thoughts and feelings each day.
Her method for shifting to healthier choices breaks things down in a simple way. As I was reading the book, I found myself inspired to take personal notes for things I wanted to implement that pertain to my interests. I was pleased to find sections for notes in each chapter to assist me along the way.
